Connect your printer to Wi-Fi
The printer and computer normally need to be on the same local network. Keep your Wi-Fi name and password ready, but do not send the password to anyone.
1. Check which network you use
Look at the Wi-Fi name on your computer or phone. If your router has separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz names, check the printer manual to see which one it supports.
2. Use the printer's wireless setup
Open Network, Wireless or Wi-Fi Setup on the printer display. Select your network and enter the password directly on the printer. For printers without a display, use the manufacturer's official setup app or the WPS method described in its manual.
3. Wait for a connected status
A steady wireless icon or a printed network report can confirm the connection. If it fails, move the printer closer to the router temporarily and retry.
4. Add the printer to your computer
Open the printer settings on Windows or macOS, choose Add printer, and select the device that matches your model. Print a test page after it is added.
5. If the printer was connected before
A changed router, network name or password requires the printer to be connected again. Remove an old duplicate printer entry only after confirming the new one works.
Enter the Wi-Fi password yourself. PRINT-BV does not need your Wi-Fi, email or computer password to discuss your issue.
